I was checking out nix99 a few days ago and saw they had a 96 GT come in and viewing the pictures it had stock side skirts, however it was badly damaged on the left front, gave them a call and they said the skirts were in good condiiton and they'd sell them for $100 with the screws. Picked them up yesterday and they're in great condition, however they're cherry red, and my car is white, will have to get them painted and installed. Thought I got a pretty good deal.
One question, Toyota used white plastic push fasteners along one side, and metal screws underneath because they probably had factory holes to engage, where as my 94 ST doesn't, do you just remove these plastic fasteners and use 2 sided tape, and then the metal screws? I'm sure the bodyshop will know what to do, but any help would be appreciated. exx This post has been edited by exxtractor: Apr 21, 2004 - 11:33 AM |
