if you have an ST you can swap in a 4age 20V, a 4agze (supercharged), or with a GT (or a little more work on an ST) you can swap in a 3sgte (turbo) or 3sge (NA). supra engines, the mk4 twin turbo 93-98 will not physically fit in the engine bay, or bolt up, but even if you did, you don't have a FWD tranny that can handle that power, so you'd have to convert to RWD which is so expensive it's pointless. 3sgtes have more potential than the 2JZ-GTE anyway. if you look at all the really really really fast supras in japan, they all have 3sgte's in them. best engine toyota ever built.

I know the 3sgte is an awesome engine, but I don't see how it can have more potential than the mk 4 supra. I mean, there are quite a few 700+ supra's, and at least 2 with 1000+ hp. I don't see how the 3sgte can surpass that. Yes, I know it weighs a lot less making the car as a whole faster. However, if one were to build it up to insane amounts of hp, the car will have to be RWD or AWD. There's no way you could have a FF celica with 700 horsepower. Well, technically there is, but honestly what's the point, you'd never move! Don't get me wrong, I love the 3sgte, and will do the swap after my freshmen year, but I just don't see the logic there. Please, prove me wrong. biggrin.gif
