I'm looking to improve the the handling on my celi, but not drop more than an inch if necessary. I'm thinking of getting into rallycross, and I need to keep the car off the ground for clearance.
What is the best thing to do to increase handaling, without lowering too much (if at all)? I'll need a sway bar, what is a good brand? Also, are kyb shocks going to be the best? Should I do anything with spring? Any other ideas would be great. If you have product names or webpages you could link to, that would be great (i'm new to the whole suspension thing) Thanks. -------------------- psalm 69 |

The celi comes with sway bars as standard...ok they are thin but I would leave changing them until last.
Uprate the shocks and springs (lower by 1" or 1.5"). This lowers the center of gravity and improves handling. To get rid of the roll, I would go for a set of front and rear strut bars. They made an enormous difference. Thereafter, you will probably find that you only need to upgrade the sway bar bushes to urethane ones. This is what I have found. Oh yes, make sure you get a decent set of tires. |
