Lately i am thinking of selling my 1998 GT4 because i am an accountant and i am supposed to drive a more conservative car. well not really, but as i am getting older i may want something in the 4dr category. The thing is that due to import duties I cannot really get any car that has an engine size more than 2.2 L. The only option that i like is the Altezza (IS 200). I really like the RX300 but due to engine size thats out of the question.
What do you think? Is the GT4 a keeper? Should i even bother trying to see if there is something out there for me? btw, there is no focking way i am leaving the Toyota family. |

Well, the only reason why i a thinking of selling it would be because i also have the Curren so i need to get rid of one of the two. I really dont want to sell the GT4 because it was my dream car for over 20 years. I was hooked on the celis from the gen 1. My father had one when i was a kid and that was the car i learned how to drive(got to love rwd) As Carlos sainz was winning those WRC championships i knew that someday i would get one.
Oh well, i had some recent kills that make me want to keep the GT4. some of them are: 1. BMW Z3 2. BMW 320i 3. BMW 520i 4. Honda Prelude 2.2 VTEC 5. riced out WRX impreza 6. Integra type R 7. Civic Type R 8. EVO 6 (I know it doesn't seem possible but i had a much better take off so i guess he just quited) Before i make any moves i will wait for my Apexi exhaust that i got from Neverstop and then i will go through with my own personal design rear underspoiler and some new rims. If i am not that impressed with the result i might decide to sell (dont really think so though as i believe the car will be just perfect by the end of the month and that would perfect for the summer) |
