Im going to put change springs/struts/wheels next week....

I heard that I need to align the car twice (once right after the swap done, and another time 2 weeks later, when the springs break in).

What I wanna do (to save $ on the alignment), is to only align the car 2 weeks later ...and while that time, driving on my stock wheels (I dont care to rub those tires because i'll never put them back on)

my question is does that make sense and can it hurts my car suspension in some way?

if you cars alignment is good now and you just put springs on it there wont be much change in toe. Your camber will be negative some but not enough to destroy your tires after a couple hundred miles. When i put intrax on my 3000GT i drove on it for months and ate up the insides of my tires. I didnt care thouugh because i wanted different tires anyways. But yeah its best to get a alignment after you install the springs...DONT DO IT BEFORE!
