I have read that aftermarket intakes for turbos do not result in significant performance gains like in n/a cars. I have also read that they can significantly increase noise which I do not want. Please let me know what differences I can expect with an aftermarket intake on the 3sgte. Thanks for the replies.

Well the truth is you do want the turbo to have as much free flowing air as possible. By adding an intake it removes the "restrictive" stock air box.
Also, you would only need a "Ram" type, and not a cold air intake type, because even if cold air gos into the turbo it will come out hot, thats what your intercooler is for. |
