I have read that aftermarket intakes for turbos do not result in significant performance gains like in n/a cars. I have also read that they can significantly increase noise which I do not want. Please let me know what differences I can expect with an aftermarket intake on the 3sgte. Thanks for the replies.

He can fit a straight intake however he'll still require the AFM. And the battery is right in front of the turbo. The cruise control is in the way also, it needs to be removed. For a straight intake he needs to relocate the battery. And after he did all that he would have to extend the plug for the AFM, it will be to short. -------------------- |
