I am going to be racing my first race comeing up this next weekend. I was curious if anyone on this site had raced rallycross before, and could tell me how a celi holds up.
Also, if anyone has been to a RallyCross race, and could tell me what its like, that would be awesome. Thanks! -------------------- psalm 69 |

There was one in the area yesterday I believe... but I worked and couldn't go. Anyways, the Celicas hold up fairly well. Typical (ametuer) rallycross courses are short and you don't go that fast... but there's a LOT of steering action. You gotta be careful and slow if it's your first time... cause going too fast is easy and follow the cones. As for watching... lots of Subarus old and new... aside from that, the occasional DSM and alltrac. Some FF cars also. My brother-in-law's racing team went yesterday (in an old-school VW Fox) but I haven't talked to them yet. I was told they were gonna film some of the events. God... I woulda loved to spin in the dirt with my Trueno... woulda been some mad 10-20 mph drifting action... ;] This post has been edited by Kwanza26: May 16, 2004 - 5:18 PM -------------------- "It's ok to be naked girl...
