I hear about people on here all the time that lower their cars and think it's not low enough. So, I have started leaning towards GC coil overs or aerospeeds.
The only problem I have with coil overs is that they supposedly make some noise. Do you guys with them have a problem with it? SO, I was thinking.... if I put the sleve on the shock, and welded it to the shock, it would be FIRMLY in place, and then if I were to put on the actual mount that the spring sits on, and place a rubber washer or something on top of it, the spring wouldn't rattle or creak at all. Awaiting your thoughts... also, some E-bay coilovers look Ok... maybe... Jon |

Well, I planned to weld them to the housing anyway... I figured I'd put panel bond between the sleeve and the strut, and then weld the sleve up on top and bottom. that way the strut would be just like a real coilover suspension strut.
EDIT: Hey QT Can I buy the leftovers of your coilover set up? This post has been edited by FallenHero: May 16, 2004 - 11:04 PM |
