I am considering upgrading to the Suspension Techniques sway bars. For those that have them, what are the performance gains versus how much they make the ride punishing. I am trying to strike a balance between improved handling and ride comfort. To illustrate this these are the mods I have chosen (so far):
Performance enhancing: TRD Springs Front Strut Tower Brace Side tower braces Ride comfort: KYB GR2 16" wheels (with 4 inch sidewalls) Thanks for the replies -------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |

They all had sway bars stock, there is another post somewhere with stock part numbers, but basically, 96 and newer GT had the stiffest stock bars, all years end links are the same, so for an inexpensive upgrade, you should be able to use the later rear stock bars on a 94-95 if you use the later frame bushings. (the 94-95 Sport suspension package rear bars are the same part no as the stock later GT bars. ) Front GT bars are 20MM dia, I believe ST bars are 19MM? (I hope that makes sense) heres the post with part numbers: post What I would like to know, is whether anyone with a 96 or newer GT has installed the Suspension Techniques bars and how much did they improve handling?
