So, I was talking with some friends about what it would take to make the celica "show quality" by April of next year. Sat down, got out an excel spreadsheet, and started in
At first, I only put down what I've already bought: *dies* apparently I've already spent $2704.00 on her. So... then I added all the future stuff I'd need to make it "show" quality: *dies* Turns out I forgot about the 60 I already spent on clear turns and sidemarkers, but no matter. $10,583.00!!! gahhh btw, thats all in planned chronological order. The paintjob is only for the body panels that I replace (like the fenders, or if I get a bodykit) and ghosting- which is being done by a friend. Any costs WAYY off? I've put the turbo project pretty high up there, it includes exhuast and engine work that needs to be done before the turbo gets slapped on.. I hope. |

ok just dont want you to get hopes up about winning any shows or anything!
some people seem to think that with a few mods that they are in the running to win shows! i planned to get my car into HIN this year but went to register too late. but when i do do a show im not even gonna be judged cuz the way i see it is "why be judged when my car will never win anything except for maybe someday 'best female car' <--usually taken by a civic or integra up at the shows here in WA -------------------- Cruisin down the street in my Infiniti...always lookin for my next trip to Sin City
