ok, here is the deal, I don't know anything about car audio, by anything, I mean anything. For me, just pressing play and stop is basically the extent of my knowlege. BUT... I figure I need to get a new system just to get by at shows. I decided on decking my car out momo style so I am going to get the new polk/momo speakers and the 12" sub.

My question is, what else do I need to get for this system to work well, keeping the same quality that was intended for the speakers. What level should I run everything at? any suggestions or anything at all will greatly help, even if it is just to tell me how stupid I really am.

Oh yeah, it also has a crossover, I don't even know what that is.

You'll need amps, a head unit, a custom fiberglass enclosure(Not required, but recommended for show use. ), lots and lots of sound deadener, wire, and some other miscellaneous stuff.
