Finally got a header on my car to finish the exhaust off. I haven't found out exactly who made it yet, but my exhaust shop did some more work to it and put it on. I know they got it from www.hitechmufflers.com.au in Queensland, and It's either a Genie or Hurricane I'm pretty sure. Happy with the piping and my car sounds awesome with it now. I'll try to get some audio clips soon It's a 4-2-1 as you can see, and I also got a new high flow cat as well. Looks kind of dodgy at the moment because of the coating the steel had on it, but I'm getting it painted next week. And after that the head is getting a work over and paint job |

It sounds heaps better now doesn't it Kamix???
I did it the same way as you. I had a cat back for a few years and then I did the header to the cat. Have you thought about getting a air/fuel management system?. I got my SAFC tuned and it made HEAPS of difference to the torque and overall output. And it has saved me heaps of fuel as well. My car was running rich as after my filter and exhaust system. The SAFC has payed for itself through the savings on the fuel and the car runs better now. |
