frown.gif today it was porring down rain. On the way home, i found a puddle at the base of my hill, i drove though very slowly, and right in the deepest part, just up to the base of the door, the motor died, and now, after being pulled out of the water, and given time to dry out, it dose not start, it just clicks, like its trying to power up the starter, but it dose not work. what can I do, all the fuses are good, and everything seem to be in order. any idea.

note. I think what happen is that because my intake is in the bumper it probibly was a little under water, and sucked up some, although my filter is suppose to be water proof, and have never had any problem in the past.

HELP!! any tricks. anyone ever done this befor?

frown.gif towed it up to my house (love my dads new F250) while towing, I let the cluch out in gear to see if i could pump whatever was in the there out, and it did a little but it was so slick (horrible down poor) that the wheels just skid.

when i try and start it, the starter clicks, and hummms, then smokes.
checked intake manifold and there is a little mosture in there but not much, the distributer is dry. no fuses are blow. but i checked the oil, and it seems like i have more than what i started with. that makes me nurvous. i have charged the battery several time, and ran it down again trying to start it.

i think that i will just try rolling it down my hill, see if I can give the starter some help, and call my mechanic.

if the motor is a gone. I will most likely try and get something nice. if only i could get my hands on a VR6 tongue.gif
