today it was porring down rain. On the way home, i found a puddle at the base of my hill, i drove though very slowly, and right in the deepest part, just up to the base of the door, the motor died, and now, after being pulled out of the water, and given time to dry out, it dose not start, it just clicks, like its trying to power up the starter, but it dose not work. what can I do, all the fuses are good, and everything seem to be in order. any idea.
note. I think what happen is that because my intake is in the bumper it probibly was a little under water, and sucked up some, although my filter is suppose to be water proof, and have never had any problem in the past. HELP!! any tricks. anyone ever done this befor? This post has been edited by creis: May 27, 2004 - 10:15 PM -------------------- |

Depends how bad it is. Water in the engine can mean bent rods, corrosion, amougst other goodies... For the most part... it's not worth trying to fix if the damage is bad. Best to start looking for a replacement motor. -------------------- "It's ok to be naked girl... I'm an artist!"
