Ok so I am not surprised that my car doesnt sound the greatest at idle. I dont know if this is all celi's, but its enough to make me kind of sad that such a beautiful and well running car doesnt have that quiet graceful idle that most cars have.
Is there anything I should check? It doesnt sound like blets but it also sounds like its coming from that little thing that has the hand off symbol with the belt next to it (is that timing belt?) Any suggestions on gettin her to be a little more graceful at the idle? |

You can have a mechanic do a compression test, or just buy a kit your self. They are pretty cheap. If you fail that, it will be your rings, if not then its most likely in the head. If your coolant is clean, then it will be your valve guides. If you coolant is dirty or you need to keep filling it, then its the head gasket. After I get my engine out (whenever the new one gets here) I'll let you know what my problems were and what to look for to see if you have the same ones.
