Hey everyone,
Here recently in my Celica it won't go into 1st or 3rd gears at times and I'll be sitting at a stop light and try to go into first and it will not go... the nly way to get it in is RAMM IT HARD or turn off the car put it in gear then restart. It also is grindin in reverse almost everytime i put it in. I'm tryin to avoid goin to the shop and gett screwed on princin for them to tell me it's nothin when i know it is. Hehe, headlights don't have fluid. ![]() Like I was saying, I think it's the C-52 trannies that we have. Mine does the exact same thing. Sometimes I'll be stopped in neutral and the light will turn green and it'll take me forever to get the car into any gear, which usually involves slamming the car into gear. And I grind going into reverse half of the time I do it. I think that is partly due to not having a synchro on reverse gear. I changed my tranny fluid over the weekend to fully synthetic BG Syncro-Shift II and it didn't do a thing. ![]() Anyone have any ideas? -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
