I am an accountant so i look always at prices first. You should compare the prices for 17 vs 18 rims but, you should also investigate the difference between 17 and 18 tyres.

Since you want to race i would suggest the 17. lighter, cheaper, smaller. also less money spent for replacing tyres after burnouts wink.gif

Some may say that i am cheap. Before you go any further you should keep in mind that i own 2 6gc, (one Curren and a GT4) and a diesel Mitsubishi Montero offroader fully loaded , so i am spending nearly all my money just maintaining these he he. Furthermore, as i live on a remote island with a s$itload of taxes and custom duties, we pay more than double for just about anything
