you'll have to research this more, but i will give you the general idea : Buy front clip (do not buy just an engine/ecu/harness) for misc. parts... you will need to do a lot more than just put the engine in the car if you expect it to work. front clip = everything from the steering column forward. figure out your transmission. the gt-four AWD transmission is not recommended, you will be needing to use your stock GT celica transmission, or use one from a turbo'd mr-2. Wiring.. you will need to lengthen the wiring harness. the wiring is the biggest problem with this swap. get a better fuel pump.. you may want to rebuild the engine while it's out of the salvaged clip. I believe that's it.. use the search function for "3sgte swap" and see what you come up with. good luck. you also might want to check out celica.net for information.. |
