![]() ![]() Finally got a header on my car to finish the exhaust off. I haven't found out exactly who made it yet, but my exhaust shop did some more work to it and put it on. I know they got it from www.hitechmufflers.com.au in Queensland, and It's either a Genie or Hurricane I'm pretty sure. Happy with the piping and my car sounds awesome with it now. I'll try to get some audio clips soon ![]() Looks kind of dodgy at the moment because of the coating the steel had on it, but I'm getting it painted next week. And after that the head is getting a work over and paint job ![]() |

Thanks. Yeah SiK mine was pretty nasty. I would sit with my bonnet up revving it in neutral, and over 3700 rpm coolant would spray out of the cracks.
![]() I recorded some wav files of my exhaust today. It was heaps windy so the quality isn't too great but it gives you an idea. Revving in neutral This one didn't pick up the low notes or idle very well. Idle noise This one sounds kind of strange because I had the mic pretty much jammed in the exhaust pipe. ![]() Driving up to 3rd gear and back down again With the Mic sitting on the passenger seat & windows down. 2.25" all the way with straight thru header/downpipe, flex joint, cat, resonator, 4" muffler = no restrictions = nice sound. The recording don't really do it justice though. |
