 Custom Intake, would it work? |

I've seen on another site this guy took i guess a like aftermarket intake, and made the pipe longer so the filter just sat there poking out of a hole in his grill (it was an old beater), i was wondering if this would work. It'd look very akward, but would it work well? and would it be like a forced induction when you start hitting higher speeds?

nothing like forced induction, but it would be a true cold air intake.
