i am about to install 2 sony 12 inch subs and an amp (not sure which one at the moment) but will it be neccessary to replace my stock speakers??

yea i already did been having them since nov just never got to install them and i was gonna sell my car now im going all out so i want to install them...so it will still sound good right without new speakers... cause i mean at high volumes the sound is scratchy,,,would that be normal?
