I'm pretty sure my celi's 7AFE was manufactured and assembled in Japan. I'm wondering about the 7AFEs that are in the Corollas. The Corollas were built in the US, so did they also build 7AFE engines or were they all shipped from Japan?

I'm just curious if there are Japan and US manufactured 7AFE engines, and if there are any differences between them.

Thanks,
TJ

the 7afe is a hybrid jdm motor designed for US specs.... weight hp ratios.

it is comprised of the 4e-fte head (starlet....4e or 4a) which is non aggressive unless with
a turbo, and a 1.8 bottom end from a corolla, paseo, and the non-turbo vitz.

all toyota.....scratch that.
most toyota motors are made by yamaha.
(toyoda and yamaha go hand in hand)
