Wood -------- so my question is are my rotors hubbed..i asked my friend how long it would take to install and he said "if your rotors are hubbed..2hrs." and he wanted me to post on here and find out..can someone give me an idea? |

When you press your brakes the friction from the brake pads causes a gas to build up between the pad and rotor causing poor braking. If you have drilled rotors then the holes give a place for the gas to escape and also helps with cooling the pads. If you have slotted, the slots lift the pad up and scoops all the gas out causing even better braking and cooling of the pads. Throw them together and they create awesome braking power, or not. In theory they would, but i don't know from experience.
