This topic might have been discussed before when the gen 7 first came out, but I ain't seen it so here goes.
I thinks it's ok, it's a Toyota after all so it's not going to be bad. Its reliable and solid like all Toyotas and has got decent performance. But.... I really couldn't live with the car's styling. Too angular for my taste, a bit too sci-fi inspired. The back espescially doesn't look too great. I like my cars curvy like the gen 6. I have to say that I am getting used to the styling now it's been around for a while but can't say if I'd ever buy one. IMO This post has been edited by Tony-94: Mar 3, 2003 - 5:12 PM -------------------- Facelift bumper-foglights-clear indicators, clear side repeaters, 16in O.Z alloys, stainless steel grill. JDM facelift tail lights. clear sidelights. Retro-fit A/C conversion. APEX performance springs. Remus exhaust. K&N performance filter. KYB excel G shocks.
Hyundai coupe Mk 3 (US Tiburon) leather seats. Gen 7 s/wheel. SR black vinyl door cards. Late spec spoiler-less tailgate with 3rd brake light. |

only thing that comes to mind is newer car meaning less to no milage. But the fact that they dont have a celica gt-four (instead isnt it celica SS or whatever...), the newer 1's dosent mean much in Japan. America however...since this country sux when it comes to importing cars (reason's why ppl have civics an not sumthin way better like a 95 300zx, etc.), the newer celica gt-s is all we have. Our gen in america comes stock with crappy motors...
