I dont want to do a 3S swap. I want to do everything myself, and Im very inclined to do so. I cant handle the wiring and extra stuff that a 3S would take so please, I ask that swappers leave their opinions out of this topic unless helpful.

This winter is nicknamed "Celica overhaul"

Im going to do everything I possibly can to my Celica which means a built 5S.

I know Race Motorsports makes 8.5 turbo pistons for the 5S but I'm more or less looking for a completely ported and polish, 100% done 5S block. I did a search for it once and someone posted a great link but I cant find it anymore. Any help would be great. Thanks guys.

You'd only lower compression if you want to turbo the car (but it sounds like you know that as you refered to it as "turbo pistons") increased compression is the way to go.. I'm also very interested in what gets said in this topic. I believe the link you are referring to links to a company that sells built up 5sfe short blocks.
