I dont want to do a 3S swap. I want to do everything myself, and Im very inclined to do so. I cant handle the wiring and extra stuff that a 3S would take so please, I ask that swappers leave their opinions out of this topic unless helpful.
This winter is nicknamed "Celica overhaul" Im going to do everything I possibly can to my Celica which means a built 5S. I know Race Motorsports makes 8.5 turbo pistons for the 5S but I'm more or less looking for a completely ported and polish, 100% done 5S block. I did a search for it once and someone posted a great link but I cant find it anymore. Any help would be great. Thanks guys. |

Well, the setup on the website is good for 155hp. That's only 20 more then stock. So you wanna pay $1,400 for 20+ more hp? You it'll be even more then that once throw in gaskets and seals and fuilds n junk.
But on the up-side, it's like a new motor, so it's like your celica is born again. What's maged and shot-peened? You'd still need (or use the stock) crank, cams, vaules, vaule springs, and what else major? -------------------- NASA/SCCA RX-7....currently under the knife
