Hey 6gc people.
I have just recently bought a 1994 celica ZR (hatch). I know there are a lot of kits in the parts db but I wanted to see if anyone here has a '94 or '95 and has some suggestions on a possible front end that will fit right on my car. What concerns me is the slight facial change made in 1996. I don't really know anything about the specifics, as I've had trouble finding info and its kinda hard to tell just from photos. Whats the deal?!?! Is it just the front bumper, or is it the lights/bonnet? WTF? Thanks. By the way, if you didn't know, the GT is the American version of the ZR |

The two different styles of bumper ARE inter-changable. I fitted the facelift bumper from a '98 car to my '94 Celica and it was a perfect fit, no problems.
No gaps or anything. The turn signals are different though. I reckon the facelift ones look better and you get clear turn signals which you can't get for the 94/95 cars. But some like the early bumpers so its down to personal taste. -------------------- Facelift bumper-foglights-clear indicators, clear side repeaters, 16in O.Z alloys, stainless steel grill. JDM facelift tail lights. clear sidelights. Retro-fit A/C conversion. APEX performance springs. Remus exhaust. K&N performance filter. KYB excel G shocks.
Hyundai coupe Mk 3 (US Tiburon) leather seats. Gen 7 s/wheel. SR black vinyl door cards. Late spec spoiler-less tailgate with 3rd brake light. |
