This is unfortunate but it was on the cards. Reason being is that the japanese are buying more mini mpvs and thats where the market lies.
also many of the people on the site say they feel betrayed by toyota. However if youre a company like toyota would you create a car in order to get teenagers happy about it who cant really afford it? The GT4 in the uk was priced at £30000, can anyone here afford to spend even $30000 on a car? as far as the supra goes that would cost anywhere between 40 and 60000 dollars. How many would they sell? very few, and there no kudos because toyotas are no longer in rally championships/touring car. Its all business at the end of the day and if we could afford to spend 60000 on a car we wouldnt be in 6 gens.
