 premium 8 speaker system???, what is it and do i have one? |

I was browsing through the sales part of the forum and found this thread
WTB: Stock Amplifier http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=14587 "Looking for the stock amplifer from a car that had the premium 8 speaker system. The amplifier is located below and a bit behind the climate controls." When i bought my car it had and has two 8" speakers at the bottom of the door. Mid way up are two small looking speakers. At the mirrors are two tweeters. Last but not least i have the two in the back on the sides. Is this that "Premium 8 speaker system?" If so that would mean i have a small amp im my car already rite? Whats the power rating on this amp? and if i put another amp in later on will i have to take the small one out? Thanks i just want to know what i have in my car lol |

yup exactly what mine looks like exept my arm rest on the door looks to be poked at by a cat from the previous owner lol.
I also did some research on the net and found this. http://www.allwheelmotion.com/arvinfaq.htm "ST204 GT Liftback (US spec) '94-'97: ST204L-BL_GKA '98-'99: ST204L-BL_SKA The older is a true GT with availability of optional Sports Package, 8 speaker Premium sound, standard strut tower bar, stiffer suspension, and sport exhaust tip. The later model is just an upgraded ST, with optional package foglights, stiffer front suspension, and sport exhaust tip.
