I know how a turbo works, but im not quite sure exactly what a Turbo timer and boost gauge really do? Also, how do people adjust the boost from the turbo?

A turbo timer is a device thats keeps your car running when the key is pulled out of the ignition for a certain amount of time. A turbo timer is useful because if you dont allow the car to idle after it has been running you could burn up the bearings in the turbo.

A boost gauge shows how many pound of boost you are running (8psi)

You adjust boost by the wastegate on the turbo, either by a manual boost controller or an electric one

yeah, what he said.
