fuels system for turbo st?, what works? |

im just about finished the outside of my car and i just started to gather parts to turbo my st and am trying to work on the fuel system right now. any one have any advice on what to use as far as injectors, pump and fpr go? any info will help.

a rrfpr and fmu are the same thing. sorry i should have clarified.
you could use a 12:1 fmu with aftermarket injectors, as long as the injectors aren't too much bigger than stock. think of creating fuel pressure in the same way you create water pressure from a hose. you kind of plug the end of the hose to make the water build up pressure to escape, your fuel pump does the same thing. you may need a 6:1 or 8:1 fmu with aftermarket injectors because when you lower the pressure you are actually flowing more fuel. i hope that makes sense. |
