My girlfriend just ordered me a set of 8" Kicker RMB8 Mid-Bass speakers for our anniversary, because mine are blown and sound crappy. So, these should be more than enough to take the old speakers' place.
![]() Only one question to those who have them installed, like chucho- Are you still using factory wiring from the stock amps to power the new speakers sufficiently, or did you opt to use an aftermarket amp instead? Obviously ill get more presence if i used an aftermarket amp to power them, but i just wanted to see who was using what, and what your opinions are. Thanks. -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |

when i hooked them up to the existing wiring the drivers did not move. But my factory harness was cut before i got the car so I dont know if the wires were actually connected. But your RMS that your CD player is producing is not enough power for the kicker RMB8s. I'm hooking up a KX350.2 which should work out nicely. They will be hooked up Wed. Get a nice 2 channel amp and hook 'em up and they should sound great. But i'll repost after i have all my stuff finish.
