My girlfriend just ordered me a set of 8" Kicker RMB8 Mid-Bass speakers for our anniversary, because mine are blown and sound crappy. So, these should be more than enough to take the old speakers' place.
![]() Only one question to those who have them installed, like chucho- Are you still using factory wiring from the stock amps to power the new speakers sufficiently, or did you opt to use an aftermarket amp instead? Obviously ill get more presence if i used an aftermarket amp to power them, but i just wanted to see who was using what, and what your opinions are. Thanks. -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |

The rmb8's may or may not have enough power from the amps for the stock 8" speakers....so i reccomend you try that first.
I know that I'll probably amplify mine with my existing subwoofer amp and run two amps instead, but ill try hooking it up to the factory wiring first just to see how it sounds first. -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |
