Im slowly thinking about putting a magna flow muffler on my 6th gen. But im wondering is it worth it? Im wondering more about sound then performance but both do matter.
How much diffrence in noise does it make? How much deeper is it? Also i have a GT if i go for a 2.5 over a 2.25 is there an adapter that i can use to keep the stock piping or would i have to get 2.5 piping all the way from the down pipe and back? Whats the stock size for GT piping n e one know? Ive search the forum and found that when it comes to muffler suggestions its the magnaflow or flowmaster. Ive been told that magnaflows are better. Is this true or a simple bias? |

Why the heck wouldn't they want to? It'd be so much work taking everything apart just to add that ****y stock manifold again- and how the heck would you do that anyway? You're doing totally new exhaust right? In fact, there's NO way you could hook the stock mani back up- why would you want to? It doesn't hurt the turbo to spool when the intake isn't hooked up.
