You know... I've never been much of a turbo guy... so no... ;] Actually... i'd go all out n/a. I have mentioned before, that the silvertop has little difference from the blacktop and can be built just as nicely... but I personally would rather just start with the better of the two and go from there (lighter better internals, better combustion chamber design, slightly more efficeint head design, better ITB design, and VVT-i). I love pure all-motor builds... and care little for boost. Boost is the easy way out I always say... Anyways... even if the costs outweigh the advatages the blacktop has over the silver... the time and money involved in making the silver equal to the black is the equalizer... Tuning tuning tuning... =D It mostly boils down to (for me at least)... the actual performance. The silvertops are known for being slightly overrated... while the blacktops are not as bad. I've driven both a silvertop and blacktop powered AE86s... and the response factor is very noticeable... the silvertop responds similar to the 4AGE smallport redtop (better high-end pickup than the smallport, but delivers in the same way) while the blacktop feels more like the TVIS bigports, which deliver a broader torque band... because of the implemented VVT-i... only they also pick-up in the high-end unlike the bigports. Ok... ok... I admit... I like the black valve cover... ;] This post has been edited by Kwanza26: Aug 18, 2004 - 1:57 AM -------------------- "It's ok to be naked girl... I'm an artist!"
