I have installed full set of height adjustable coilovers on my 95 Celica. Now the front two struts are making sqeeking and poping noises. Is this a strut cap barring problem or something else? Help advice please rolleyes.gif

This is what you need to get.

Description :

Have Ground Control coilovers? Sick of them popping every time you turn the wheel? EvilSpeed can help. The popping sound you are hearing is a result of the spring binding. Anytime the spring compresses the spring ends must rotate with respect to each other. Any time the wheel is turned the spring must move relative to the upper spring perch. It doesn't! This is supposed to be accomplished by using the factory upper bearing and the perche supplied by Ground Control but many people (including myself) have found that this method is unsatisfactory. The spring doesn't turn as it should and instead binds and pops. Think of twisting a spring and letting go. This is exactly whats happening in your front suspension every time you hear the infamous 'popping'. By install specially sized needle bearings between the spring perches and the spring the spring is allowed to float freely and cannot bind. This eliminates the popping sound and restores the ride quality you expect. I highly recommend installing the bearing kit in both the front and the rear of the car to allow the springs full range of motion.

You can get them at EvilSpeed.com

Just go to the Products page and select " SSTOP THE GC POP"

good luck.
