I like classic rock, jazz and classical music. I want to improve sound quality in the convertible and I want to spend no more than $400. I already have a very nice aftermarket head unit. It is the DXZ645MP from Clarion. Here is a link:
Clarion Head Unit I don't need big bass. I also do not want big enclosures that take up my entire trunk. What should I spend the money on? -------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |

If you just don't want to build a fiberglass enclosure, you could build one out of 3/4" MDF...supplies for that would only cost $25 or so, and they're not hard to make.
Either way, make sure your enclosure is around .3 to .5 cubic feet. Other than that it sounds like a pretty good setup. Are you going to install it all yourself? -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
