What non-toyota engines would be good swaps that would actually work in a 6gc? Has anyone ever did a non-toyota swap? I wanted to do a search on this so I don't get flamed. I tried a couple of searches but can't really find nothing ( guess I can't find any good phrases for the search ). I'm sure someone has thought of this though. BTW Its not anything I am going to do its just something that came to mind.

Yeah, the ST205 engine would be easy to get hold of. Some might say it would be better to just trade up to a GT4 for the money it would cost to install though. A good GT4 cost around $10,000 - my GT worth about $6,000 trade in.
Plus I'd rather go with the V8 for the rarity value. -------------------- Facelift bumper-foglights-clear indicators, clear side repeaters, 16in O.Z alloys, stainless steel grill. JDM facelift tail lights. clear sidelights. Retro-fit A/C conversion. APEX performance springs. Remus exhaust. K&N performance filter. KYB excel G shocks.
Hyundai coupe Mk 3 (US Tiburon) leather seats. Gen 7 s/wheel. SR black vinyl door cards. Late spec spoiler-less tailgate with 3rd brake light. |
