What non-toyota engines would be good swaps that would actually work in a 6gc? Has anyone ever did a non-toyota swap? I wanted to do a search on this so I don't get flamed. I tried a couple of searches but can't really find nothing ( guess I can't find any good phrases for the search ). I'm sure someone has thought of this though. BTW Its not anything I am going to do its just something that came to mind.

Sometimes they do. Lots and lots of people turbocharge their stock AE101 silvertop 4A-GE engines. Most of the time a standalone EMS is used and the AFM is eliminated, but I've seen at least six or seven silvertop 4A-GE engines that are running a turbo setup with a stock ECU, stock AFM, and some sort of piggyback fuel controller. 5-6 PSI is fairly safe on the motor, and because of the high compression, 5-6 PSI amounts to some pretty substantial gains all over the powerband. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
