I keep seeing stuff about octance boosters, as an easy thing to increase hp. i noticed a diffence when i switched from low grade gas to premium gas. most of the octance boosters say they will bost octance from 3-4 pts. Nos makes one that says it will bost 10 pts, but it also says "acts as a lead substitute" and thats no good frown.gif. but in short, do these boosters work?

OMG another octane booster thread...wow. These are like a once a week occurrence. Same questions same answers. The search feature is nice. and it can be used ya know...

on topic: It may extend engine life but not much...if you have a swap or forced induction of some sort sure use it...but what Coomer uses is the best.
