I finally got to the track to run the car.
I babied it off the line(i got the 5s tranny) and i am only running 13 psi with 18" tires but overall i had good times. 1/4 mile times were at 14.4 and 14.5 the whole time top speeds were 97 and 98 mph i think if i run it again i am gonna put the stock 15" rims on and turn the boost to about 16-17 and see what happens! I think 13's are easily within reach! DG -------------------- |

What you guys watch fast and furious? You do realize most all ur cars run 16+s?
First, he has a tranny with weak, short gearing, so like he said he babied it he didnt launch hard. Now if u've run ur car youll quickly find out how important your launch is. Secondly what does "your not going to see much gains after 10lbs on the CT26? Where the hell did you get this information from? Does all of a sudden the CFMs decrease after 10lbs? Does ne body actually know what CFMs actually mean or how they effect the turbo or are you looking at just pressure, which means less. Dave, I think you should boost up to 15lbs, with 15's and see what happens and if the track isnt to far away maybe launch at 2.5-3K.
