MESSED UP ON THE POST, ACTUALY MY SON GOT TO THE LAPTOP AND STARTED PRESSING KEYS. Anyways like I was saying I was driving home and when I was shifting from 3rd to 4th my engines rpm took a nose dive from 4000 and I was unable to accelerate at all. It felt like A complete surge or something electronical. I immediately coasted to the side of the road and called the tow truck who took it to the shop. I tried to start it before the tow truck came (couple of times ), but to no luck; anyway the the pistons sounded like they were misfirring. But my mechanic eventually told me that the ignitor blew whick caused the distributor to go as well and my car was now running on two of the four cylinders. The shop eventualy replaced the distribitor for a performance one, with a larger curve. The ignitor was no problem because it just bolts on to the firewall. Everything seemed to be going good and after two weeks, it finally looked like I was going to get my car back. My mechanic told me that my ecu was fried and that he could get a used one to salvage the jet chip was installed a few years back. the mechanic and i both looked at junk yards but to no prevail, finally he told me that there was a shop that said that they could rebuild it ( bear in mind the total cost is now over a thousand dollars). Long story short the shop gave us the run around and told that the couldn't do it and now my mechanic is telling me that the only thing is to get a new one that runs over 900 dollars frown.gif TO ALL YOU THAT SWAPED OUT YOUR MANUAL ST ENGINES I NEED YOUR ECUS '

If that sale doesn't go through I will have one in a few weeks to sell.
