I finally got to the track to run the car.
I babied it off the line(i got the 5s tranny) and i am only running 13 psi with 18" tires but overall i had good times. 1/4 mile times were at 14.4 and 14.5 the whole time top speeds were 97 and 98 mph i think if i run it again i am gonna put the stock 15" rims on and turn the boost to about 16-17 and see what happens! I think 13's are easily within reach! DG -------------------- ![]() |

Very true. The GT4 will out perform the GT2 in cornering. However has anyone come across a turn the could not take in their american domestic market GT? I have picture of my car's gauge cluster hitting 133MPH @ 7000RPM's (yes I was bouncing off the rev limiter at that point - had to take several shots to catch it at 7000) on a banked "s" curve located near my house. Several friends witnessed it and were amazed at how flat the car was during the turn and how smooth and effortless it was inside (I had one friend inside). So unless you are planning to take some seriously sick corners I think the FWD is just fine. This is just my .02 and no I don't feel like going thru the hassle of proving it to anyone on this site. If you want proof - hit me up on www.houstontoyotaclub.com - several of the witnesses regularly post there and one even hit it at 132MPH in a 7TH gen GTS 6-speed to try to break my record. My record still stands! -------------------- ![]() |
