My Amp Woes., Anybody ever experience this... Options

So I have a Blaupunkt Amplifier bridged to power a single 10" Polk MOMO subwoofer, and I've noticed that for a bridged-power RMS rating of around 380 watts, it just doesnt seem all that loud.

I'm pretty sure that its a power problem of some kind, because I'm supplying the amp with my headunits full 6 volt output power, and everything is EQ'd perfectly and installed poperly....Its just that the amp output tends to vary quite a bit from time to time, so it will be nice and powerful one minute, then not nearly as powerful as it should be the next.

Could it be a low battery voltage, bad RCA signal...?? Just tell me if any of you have had the same problem before ,because its been like this on and off for a while now.

1) the amp does not get loud, the speaker does.... it could be that u are underpowering the speaker, or the speaker itself... enclosure...

2) the amp could be crapping out... if you say sometimess its strong, and other times no, your electrical system might not be able to handle even the smallest load... do your lights dim really bad at night when bass plays?

3) try with a diff amp... swap with a buddy, and check if the amp works fine in his house... u could also go to a car audio shop and have em check the amp there.

4) u may just want to get a new amp.
