i was just wondering if anyone ever put on one of those chips that supposedly add 20+ horsepower that are CHEAPly sold on ebay. i see they just attach to a sensor, but i was wondering if anyone could tell me if it was a worthwhile purchase or some stupid piece. thanks

It works! But it is a easy way to pop your engine on a hot day.It tells your computer that its getting cooler air then it advances your timing 2 degrees and then pop there goes your motor. Its a fifty cent resistor.your motor $800-$1500.Watching someones car blow up from a fifty cent chip=PRICELESS

Hahahahaha.... rolleyes.gif

You really don't know what you're talking about at times dude...

And to add to everyone else's guesses... it does trick the ECU... but it tricks the ECU to dump more fuel. That does NOT add power to our cars...
