I just got a new addition to my car, so I thought I'd tally up all of the money I've spent (not counting maintanence and time) and get some vague descriptions in there....here goes:
$7000-Price out the door from dealer $2200-Initial money for sound system $70-Dynamat trunk kit $1600-Wheels and Tires + $350-Kenwood Music Keg $11,220 If only our cars were worth how much we spent on them...so how is it for you guys? I'm probably near the lowest on the site, but I'd like to see what you guys all spend your money on. |

Let's see:
intercooler-600 turbo-775 + 285 + 320 + 90= don't wanna know injectors- 375 manifold- 412 wastegate- 275 fuel pump- 100 turbo timer- 100 boost controller- 300 exhaust- 150 fmic and exhaust piping- 275 wheel and tires- 1200 head unit- 370 bass amp- 375 highs amp- 320 equalizer- 250 subs and box- 400 wiring- 300 gauge pod- 35 gauges- 200 fuel regulator- 130 fmu- 100 jdm tails- 375 miscellaneous hoses and fittings- +400 s-afc- 300 battery- 170 jdm hood and bumper- 1100 chrome gauge bezel- 35 fuel- 10 per day bov- 170 suspension- 150 miscellaneous little things- +600 WOW, this car has been a money pit, and it's still broke and not done. I've spent all this money since 2002 and I don't even get to drive it for more than a2 weeks every 6 months, haha. Yeah, I feel like crying. EDIT: Grand total is...$11,037 for just mods...car was $7,000 flat. It could be more, but I just rounded prices to the closest number and didn't include a few things I might've forgotten. And to think that the car for me is pretty much stock...I really don't see the money there. That's not counting the price for the TRD wing and SSIII splitters...and the paint and bodywork involved plus the engine rebuild and setup when the time comes in 2006. This is really overwhelming.
