I have no clue whats a good brand of tire and/or wheel, what size works best with my celica 97 st, etc...

i have looked on tire rack and it says it can fit up to an 18", however, i doubt thats the 'best' fit... and what brand(s) of wheels should i be focusing on?

i've also read the tire and wheel bible, so I know the theories and basics behind tires/wheels, i just need some guidance with real-life experience and suggestions... preferibly if you've had/tried out a certain brand and under certain conditions...

i won't be using them in the winter, so its not a problem.

rain is tho, as im in PA, the state of rain... but, no matter what tire i have, i doubt i'd drive like an idiot..

help please.

i have bfgoodrich scorchers and they are fantastic in the rain. its unbelievable. i can drive thro 2 inch deep puddles like they are nothing. ill whip down a single lane road with a jersy barrior and a guardrail when its pouring out and not have ne thing to worry about, even going 60. they are way better than my snow tires are in the rain, and those are 185/60/15's.
