 Midwest Meet, Starved Rock State Park - IL - Oct. 2nd |

Starved Rock State Park is in Utica, IL - about 1 hour south of Rockford and an hour West of the Chicago suburbs. I am suggesting a meet on Saturday, October 2, 2004. Starved Rock is a beautiful location with lots of hiking trails, picnic areas, and great scenery for some nice car pics. Who's all up for it?
Map Here is the layout of the park. I have marked the meet area in green. It is a long picnic area down by the river next to the Visitor's Center. My suggestion is meeting at the lodge at between 1 and 2pm. The lodge location is well marked with signs and it has a big parking lot. Then, we can go down into the park and hang out, take pics, etc. I will pm participants with my cell number before we go in case anyone is late.
