ever since i bought this car i have had bad experiences!! well heres another one, the clutch got drastically lighter.
heres the story,(dont ask me why but it happened) i launched out of first at 4krpm. and then i shifted into 2nd and the rpm was still high. anyway i stopped after that and i smelled something burning. i didnt run it for long. i think i "burned my clutch". the clutch itself works fine its just the pressure that was there isnt there anymore. the pedal feels so much lighter and easier to press. wat should i do? -should i replace the clutch? leave it alone? -can i get the pressure back? -how much for a new clutch? (racing and stock prices) and about how much for installation at a shop?? help me out!! |

how long have you had you clutch? do you abuse on it alot? when you hit the gas does your RPM// just shoot up like if your giving it a shoot on 02? ..
don't be like me and wait till the last minute to fix things .. then get stuck on the highway for 5 hours waitting for a tow truck.. just go have your clutch replaced... your going to have to do it sooner or later.. and if you are taking off at 4kRPM.. yea your going to burn you clutch real quick.. it's ok once in a while .. but not all the time... -------------------- |
